February 28, 2023 -- Ephesians 6:10-12 -- The Spiritual Battle and the Spiritual Resources

People loved by the Father, in the Spirit's power: Sh'ma ~ hear and obey Jesus!

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:10-12 ESV

“To be raised from spiritual death to life by Christ the King means that we are no longer followers (or prisoners) of the prince of the powers of the air (2:2). We are now the ‘opposition’…Consequently, the final proof that we have been raised up to sit with Christ in the heavenly places and now heavenly realms in a way that is worthy of him is: we keep our keep and are able to remain standing in the battle against the Evil One.”
